This sign design was created for The Last Chance, a long-standing bar and restaurant in Walhalla, South Carolina, known for its classic biker atmosphere and deep local roots. Established in 1929, the client wanted a roadside sign that would grab the attention of passing drivers — bold, legible, and full of authentic character.

I focused on readability and impact, using strong, slanted typography designed to catch the eye even at high speeds. The font choice reflects vintage biker culture and rugged Americana style while maintaining crisp visibility from a distance. A simple two-tone color palette enhances contrast and clarity, ensuring the sign remains striking both day and night.

Created with real-world function and legacy in mind, this design communicates the establishment’s identity and heritage at a glance. It embodies strength, tradition, and authenticity — qualities that have defined The Last Chance and its loyal patrons for generations.
