Last Chance Signage
This sign design was created for Last Chance, a long-standing bar and restaurant in Walhalla, South Carolina, known for its classic biker atmosphere and local heritage. Established in 1929, the client wanted a roadside sign that would stand out to passing drivers—bold, legible, and full of character.
I focused on readability and impact, using strong, slanted typography that captures attention even at high speeds. The font choice was intentional—echoing vintage biker culture with a rugged, Americana feel while maintaining clear visibility from a distance. The simple two-tone color palette reinforces contrast and clarity, ensuring the sign remains striking both day and night.
Designed with real-world function in mind, this sign communicates the establishment’s name and legacy in a single glance. It embodies heritage, toughness, and authenticity, just like the patrons who’ve been visiting Last Chance for generations.
