These Oconee Bell flowers are easy to overlook in the wild, which is part of why I’ve always found them interesting. They’re small, rare, and gone before most people ever spot them. Painting them gave me a chance to slow down and really notice their details, and I appreciated the quiet beauty they have when you take the time to look.
