I took this photo during a cross-country road trip with my wife when we hiked up to see Delicate Arch. We visited in the afternoon, but when I went to paint it, I wanted to imagine it under the moonlight instead. There’s something about that soft, cool glow that makes the rock feel almost otherworldly.
