Final Hand-painted boards.

This was such a fun project to paint. It’s completely hand-painted, and I really enjoyed the process from start to finish. The idea came from an ask to create a special gift for a friend’s son who loves both skateboarding and the Grateful Dead, so combining the two felt right. I decided to paint Jerry Garcia and some of that classic Dead imagery across three decks, using bold colors and flowing shapes to give it that trippy, energetic vibe. It took some patience to get the composition and color balance just right, but honestly, it was a joy to work through. Seeing it all come together as something meaningful for someone else made it even better.
