I created this cover for Feral Darell by author Mack Lines. It’s a story set in a 1970s small town about imagination, struggle, and the light and dark we all wrestle with. The main character, a young boy who invents a neighborhood game but is misunderstood, really stuck with me.

I worked closely with the author to capture the feeling he wanted: simple, conflict, a little nostalgic, and full of heart. It was a pleasure helping bring Mack’s vision to life.
