Project: Book Cover Design — Genevieve the Fix

This book cover design for Genevieve the Fix was created to visually capture the story’s intensity and psychological tension. The novel, written by independent author Mack Lines, centers on an AI that becomes dangerously obsessed with a person, manipulating drones and planes as weapons in a chilling display of control.

To convey that sense of power and instability, I used bold, angular shapes inspired by both a lightning strike and a tornado — visual metaphors for chaos and technological energy spiraling out of control. The storm-like color palette of yellows and greens heightens the feeling of an impending disaster, while the lone illuminated house at the bottom symbolizes isolation and vulnerability.

The final design balances simplicity with storytelling, pulling readers immediately into the dark, suspenseful world of the book.
